Robinah Biribonwa - Interim Managing Director & Portfolio Manager | Uganda

Robinah is a Finance and Microfinance Specialist with over 16 years of experience in the field of finance, Credit management, and Investment/risk analysis.  She joined Mango Fund in February 2016 as a Portfolio Manager and now she’s the interim Managing Director. She has a great passion for working with entrepreneurs and helping them meet their dreams. Prior to joining Mango Fund, Robinah worked with The Hunger Project Uganda as the Head of the Microfinance. She was later given the responsibility to oversee the microfinance program for The Hunger project global network in the Anglophone countries. Robinah also worked with Ecumenical Church Loan Fund Uganda (ECLOF-Uganda) as a Head of Credit overseeing the entire microfinance operations of ECLOF Uganda. She has also worked with Uganda Women Finance Trust Bank, various SACCOs and credit cooperatives across Uganda Funded by IFAD and BSF.  She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science – Economics and social Administration.  


Edmund Tayebwa-Finance and admin officer I Uganda

Edmund is an accountant and tax specialist with 4 years of experience in accounting, tax advisory, finance, business management and administration. Edmund joined Mango Fund in June 2019 as the Finance and Administration officer; Prior to joining Mango Fund, Edmund worked at RSM Eastern Africa (Certified Public Accountants) as an Audit senior managing Audit assignments and training Junior Auditor’s at the Audit firm.  He has vast knowledge, skills and passion in accounting and finance.He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting option) from Makerere University Business School. He is currently a student of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants pursuing CPA on level III.


Mark Musinguzi - Investment Analyst | Uganda

Mark joined Mango Fund in July 2016 as an Investment Analyst. Prior to joining Mango Fund, Mark worked with Stanbic Bank Uganda in areas of Financial Services, Credit risk management and Credit analysis over the previous eight years. Mark has a passion for investments as a way of empowering communities.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology and has passed all three exams of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation


Daniel Murungi- Investment officer I Uganda

Daniel joined Mango fund in July 2016 as an investment officer. Before Mango Fund, He worked with Bayport financial services as a quality control and collections officer. He later joined Vision Fund Uganda as a loans officer dealing with the active poor. He subsequently worked at EFC Uganda Ltd and Letshego Uganda Ltd respectively serving as an SME Credit officer. Throughout his career of over 8 years, he has had an opportunity to interact with a wide variety of clients from various backgrounds and aspects of society. Daniel is a considerate person who always looks to find creative solutions to meet client’s unique needs. Daniel holds a B.A. Economics degree from Makerere University.


Lucy Pinyoloya - Investment officer I Uganda

Lucy joined Mango Fund in 2015; prior to joining Mango Fund, Lucy worked with Uganda Small Scale Industries Associations as the Regional Coordinator. She distinguished herself with her wide range of experience in entrepreneurship development, knowledge transfer, and resourcefulness. Lucy’s role with USSIA was a key part of the large number of clients that came to Mango Fund through her regional expertise, strong reputation, and excellent relationship building skills.

Her passion for entrepreneurs is very evident to anyone who meets her, especially for the entrepreneurs in Northern Uganda. Lucy holds a diploma in marketing from Uganda College of Commerce Aduku. She also holds Diploma in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Cavendish University Uganda.


Gorrety Adeke - Investment officer I Uganda

 Gorrety joined Mango Fund in May 2019 as an investment officer. Prior to joining Mango Fund Gorrety worked at Letshego Uganda Ltd and The Hive Uganda Ltd as Relationship officer Agriculture and Project Officer respectively.

Throughout her career of over 4 years, she has had an opportunity to interact, share knowledge and work with various entrepreneurs from different walks of life. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness Management from Makerere University College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.   


Alito Paul- Investment officer I Uganda

Paul Joined mango Fund in May 2019 as an investment officer. He brings a wealth of experience of more than 10 years in Banking, Training from Sales, Back office operations and credit management from both Global Trust Bank and Post Bank where he specialized in Managing Loan Portfolio of Small medium enterprises in Kampala and Northern Uganda.

He holds a Higher Diploma and Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Makerere University Business School.


Sophia Namugambe - Assistant Financial Analyst I Uganda

Sophia joined Mango Fund in 2017 as an internship trainee and later appointed as an Assistant Financial Analyst in July 2018. Her role at Mango Fund is basically to assist the investment analyst’s in data management, basic financial analysis and management of the loan data base.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance from Kyambogo University. She’s currently a student of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants pursuing CPA on level II.
