Robinah Biribonwa - General Manager | Uganda

Robinah is a Finance and Microfinance Specialist with over 16 years of experience in the field of finance, Credit management, and Investment/risk analysis.  She joined Mango Fund in February 2016 as a Portfolio Manager and currently she’s the General Manager. Robinah has a great passion for working with entrepreneurs and helping them meet their dreams.

Prior to joining Mango Fund, Robinah worked with The Hunger Project Uganda as the Head of the Microfinance. She was later given the responsibility to oversee the microfinance program for The Hunger project global network in the Anglophone countries. Robinah also worked with Ecumenical Church Loan Fund Uganda (ECLOF-Uganda) as a Credit Supervisor/Analyst overseeing the entire microfinance operations of ECLOF Uganda. She has also worked with Uganda Women Finance Trust  Bank, various SACCOs and credit cooperatives across  Uganda Funded by IFAD and BSF  .  She holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with specialization in Accounting and Finance and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science – Economics and social Administration.

Edmund Tayebwa - Finance and Admin Officer I Uganda

Edmund is an accountant and tax specialist with 4 years of experience in accounting, tax advisory, finance, business management and administration. Edmund joined Mango Fund in June 2019 as the Finance and Administration officer; Prior to joining Mango Fund, Edmund worked at RSM Eastern Africa (Certified Public Accountants) as an Audit senior managing Audit assignments and training Junior Auditor’s at the Audit firm.  He has vast knowledge, skills and passion in accounting and finance.He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accounting option) from Makerere University Business School. He is currently a student of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants pursuing CPA on level III.

 

Joyline Kabakali - Lead Investment Analyst

Joyline Kabakali is Mango Fund’s Lead Investment Analyst; she joined Mango Fund in January 2021. Before joining Mango Fund, she served as an investment Associate at XSML Capital Uganda for two years.

Joyline has ten years banking experience; she started her banking career at Stanbic Bank as a teller and held other roles that included Account Analyst, Relationship Manager SME, Relationship Officer Commercial banking and Credit Analyst.  

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Makerere University, Kampala and charter in Accounting from the ACCA. Joyline derives her passion in offering solutions to the growing and diverse needs of people/businesses while ensuring sustainable growth.

Misisera Kabenge - Investment Analyst | Uganda

Kabenge Misisera has vast experience of over seven years in Credit assessment and analysis. He joined Mango Fund in October 2019 as an Investment Analyst; prior to joining Mango Fund Kabenge worked at Entrepreneurs Financial Center (EFC Ltd) an MDI as a Senior Investment Analyst - responsible for analyzing all client loans to determine the viability of the client businesses for funding. He also worked with Opportunity Bank as a senior credit Officer and later elevated to a regional recovery supervisor position in the same Bank. Kabenge also worked with Finca Uganda and MDI as an Accounts relationship Supervisor.

Kabenge is a graduate of Economics, his very passionate about the transformation and social impact created by both local and international entrepreneurs. He enjoys working with Entrepreneurs in the rural and urban areas of Uganda especially the women entrepreneurs

Sophia Namugambe - Assistant Investment Analyst I Uganda

Sophia joined Mango Fund in 2017 as an internship trainee and later appointed as an Assistant Financial Analyst in July 2018. Her role at Mango Fund is basically to assist the investment analyst’s in data management, basic financial analysis and management of the loan data base.

She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Finance from Kyambogo University. She’s currently a student of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants pursuing CPA on level II.

Daniel Murungi - Investment officer I Uganda

Daniel joined Mango fund in July 2016 as an investment officer. Before Mango Fund, He worked with Bayport financial services as a quality control and collections officer. He later joined Vision Fund Uganda as a loans officer dealing with the active poor. He subsequently worked at EFC Uganda Ltd and Letshego Uganda Ltd respectively serving as an SME Credit officer. Throughout his career of over 8 years, he has had an opportunity to interact with a wide variety of clients from various backgrounds and aspects of society. Daniel is a considerate person who always looks to find creative solutions to meet client’s unique needs. Daniel holds a B.A. Economics degree from Makerere University.

 
 

Judith Iyer Acola - Investment officer I Uganda

Judith works as an Investment Officer at Mango Fund Uganda.  Prior to joining Mango Fund Inc. in July 2022, she worked at Prudential Assurance Uganda Limited as a Financial Advisor.

Judith has over 13 years of banking experience having started her banking career as a teller at Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited. She grew through several positions in the same bank including; Customer Consultant, Account Executive Assistant (Commercial Banking), Business Banker SME, Branch Sales Manager, and then a Relationship Manager Commercial Banking (In charge of the Northern and West Nile Regions).

Judith holds an Executive Master’s Degree in Business Administration (EMBA) with specialization in Procurement from Lira University, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (BBA) from Gulu University, a Higher Diploma in Marketing (HDM) from UCC Aduku. She also a Certified Insurance Agent with a Certificate of Proficiency (COP).

Judith has a prodigious passion for good customer experience derived from excellent customer service, good relationship management and enjoys offering growth solutions to entrepreneurs. 

 

Patience Asiimwe - Investment Officer I Uganda

 Patience is an investment officer at mango fund; she has 9 years of experience in the areas of collection and credit analysis having worked with several commercial banks and microfinance institutions.

Prior joining mango fund, Patience worked at Factual solutions, DTB Bank and Fido Uganda where she spent most of her time in credit operations and account management. She is so passionate about Women Entrepreneurs and seeing them transform and grow their businesses.  

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management science and a Diploma in Business Administration both attained from Kyambogo University.

 

Leah Katasi - Investment Officer I Uganda

Leah Katasi is an investment officer at Mango Fund and a seasoned relationship manager for small and medium scale Enterprises. She carries vast experience in customer relationship management, credit risk analysis and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Mango Fund, she worked at Vertex Finance as the head of Finance. She also worked at Mercantile Credit Bank as a Business Development Officer.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Makerere University and currently concluding her Masters in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance Option) at Makerere University Business School.

She is a self-motivated team player, passionate and motivated with a drive for excellence dedicated to customer satisfaction.

 

John Paul - Business Development Analyst I Uganda

John Paul is a seasoned Statistician with more than four years of extensive experience in data analysis and client relationship management. In January 2024, he transitioned to Mango Fund as a Business Development Analyst, bringing his expertise to the forefront of strategic growth initiatives.

Prior to joining Mango Fund, John Paul worked at Uganda Tobacco Services as a Data Clerk and at Tugende Limited as a Client Relationship Manager.

His career trajectory underscores his profound knowledge, adept skills, and unwavering passion for both data analysis and client relationship management. John Paul is a graduate of Kyambogo University, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics and Statistics.

Rhoda Kanyunyuzi - Administrative Assistant Kampala Office I Uganda

Rhoda joined Mango Fund in April 2017 as Administrative Assistant for Mango Fund Head office prior to joining Mango Fund Rhodah had worked as the Personnel secretary to the CEO of Quantum Trading (Real estate). At Mango Fund Rhoda is the point of contact for all employees and clients providing administrative support, managing the front desk as well as managing external and internal events of the company.

 She holds a diploma in Business Administration from Makerere Business School.

Grace Amony – Administrative Assistant Gulu Office I Uganda

Grace joined Mango Fund in June 2019 as Administrative Assistant for Mango Fund Gulu Regional office prior to joining Mango Fund Grace worked as a group loan credit officer at BRAC-an international development organization.

At Mango Fund Grace is the point of contact for all employees and clients in Northern region providing administrative support, managing the front desk as well as managing external and internal events of the company.

She holds a Bachelor Degree in Public Administration from Gulu University.

 

Patrick Kaija -  Recoveries and Collections Officer |Uganda

Patrick joined Mango fund in November 2021 as the Recoveries and Collections officer. Hitherto joining Mango Fund, Patrick worked with FINCA Uganda ltd (MDI) as an Accounts Relationship officer. He subsequently worked at the Microfinance Support Centre as a Finance officer in charge of the Finance and Accounting functions at the Hoima Regional office.  He later worked with Equity Bank Ltd as a Debt Recovery officer in charge of collecting bad and written off loans. 

Throughout his career of over 14 years in the field of credit management, collection of bad debt Accounting, Finance, and administration; he has had an opportunity to interact with a wide variety of entrepreneurs from various backgrounds and aspects of society.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Islamic University in Uganda and a Diploma in business studies with a specialization in accounting from Makerere University Business School.
